Ten things I am grateful for is my friends because I don’t know what I would do without them especially Shannon, Emily and Abbi. I am also grateful for My family, Our house, Our food, My parents job, My school,
My best thanksgiving was back in 2007. Me and my family all got together and all my cousins from ST. Louis and Florida came too Michigan for thanks giving at my grandparents house. There was around like twenty people but all of them were relatives.
We played a bunch of board games which I didn’t personally like but it was fun to see them and hang out and watch T.V. and stuff. But that thanksgiving the food was the best the Turkey actually had flavor and it was nice and tender with tiny specs of seasoning with an interesting smell that spread across the whole condo. I don’t know why but I was stuck at the kids table because I was told “to watch the younger kids” but they were old enough to be alone plus my cousins wanted to sit with them anyways.
The dinner was good and we had some pretty funny conversations. Then it was desert we had ice cream and pumpkin pie. Of coarse I preferred the ice cream but this time I wanted to try pumpkin pie.
I remember my Uncle thronging a huge white glowing glob of whip cream on it and the pie didn’t look so appetizing. Once I tried it, it was really good.
My plans this holiday are…. Well I don’t really know but I think most of my cousins are meeting up with us at my grandparent’s condo and we will hangout there. I know that we are bringing home baked pumpkin pie and potatoes? I am not really sure but the rest of vacation I plan to hang out with a bunch of my friends at the mall and possibly bowling with abbi, kenzie, Sam, Eileen, Shannon and more people.
Normally on our thanks giving We have everyone one pitch in and bring a dish of food. We have Turkey, This weird brown potato with marshmallows melted on the top, pumpkin pie, ice cream, Corn, Mashed potatoes, Greens beans, rice, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I don’t know the name of.

Career Exploration
Artist:
There is no specific degree or certification in becoming an artist but most artists benefit on going to school and college but certificate and degree programs in fine arts is available in most colleges. Going to college is a benefit also because a post-secondary art program can provide artists with an understanding of the history, techniques, and different mediums of art. From going to school you also benefit from sharing ideas with classmates.
Alma college, Aquinas college, Calvin college, College for creative studies, Central Michigan University, Cranbrook Academy of Art, Eastern Michigan University, Ferris State University, Hope college, Lansing Community college, Madonna University, Marygrove college, Michigan State University, Oakland University, Saginaw Valley state University, Finlandia University, University of Michigan, University of Michigan-Flint, Wayne State University, and Western Michigan University all have the programs I need. Most take about four years to get necessary training and very few take two years minimum. It costs about $1,267,922,000 to get the necessary education and training.
Work I will be doing is a various wide amount of artwork from Painting, Drawing, to Architecture. An entry wage would be $20.19 hourly and annual would be 41,990. A median wage would be $30.82 hourly and annual would be $64,110.An experienced wage would be $40.69 and annual would be $84,640.
Industrial Designer:
A Bachelors degree is needed in industrial designing and is required. This is only in private colleges spreaded across the country. Schools require one year of basic Art and designing class before they can go into the bachelors program.
Artistic capability combines of Science and technology also problem solving and communication skills. Industrial designers should have an understanding of business skills too. Most workers need to be capable of working on their own in this job also.
Schools that support this program(in Michigan) are college for creative studies(Detroit Michigan, 4yr), Ferris State University(Big Rapids Michigan 4yr), Kirtland community college(Roscommon Michigan 2yr), Northern Michigan University(Marquette Michigan 4yr), Finlandia University(Hancock Michigan 4yr), University of Michigan(Ann Arbor Michigan 4yr), Washtenaw Community College(Ann Arbor Michigan 2yr), Western Michigan University(Kalamazoo Michigan 4yr).
For training it takes about two or four years of training at most colleges. Work I will be doing is consulting with marketers and manufacturers to decide what new products are needed, and how the product will be used. They also research the cost of the product, how it will be produced, and what materials will be used. Also design new products and style which is the main idea of the job.
After researching these they both seem like a really good job for me. After comparing though I think I would like being an Artist more and Do my own thing and create more various amounts of different types of projects. Also why I think being an artist would be better is because I like to do my own drawings at my own paste and make sure they have very good design and effort put into them. My second option I would choose would be an Industrial designer because that could also work because it has designing in it also. I am also thinking about going to an out of state college for becoming an artist’s because it would be a fun adventure to go to another state with a very good training program too. It also surprises me that there are a lot of colleges for both of these careers around the United states and most require two to three years of college. Also there are a lot more colleges for Artists. My Career pathway is Arts and communications for sure and I think I am going into college for training to become an artist and most likely out of state.

7. Animator
8. Fashion Designer
9. Cartoonist / Comic Illustrator
10. Visual Merchandiser
11. Costume Designer
12. Artist
13. Graphic Designer
14. Computer Animator
15. Medical Illustrator
This quiz was basically right. I am interested in most of the things on this list and its all in my career pathway arts and communications. I don’t exactly know what an Industrial designer is but everything else sounds interesting. I would like to be an Artist or and Architect though.
My top one I would like to look into more and explore is an artist because there’s so many things you can work on and draw and make. An artist is a person whose creative work shows sensitivity and imagination. I would also like to look into a graphic designer because it seems really interesting and good. A Graphic designer can refer to a number of artistic and professional disciplines which focus on visual communication and presentation. I would also like to look into a desktop publisher.

Halloween
My favorite Halloween plans are dressing up then trick or treating and heading to a big party afterwards at a friend’s house. This Halloween will be fun me and my friends are dressing up and walking around there neighborhood and afterwards we are going to go see the new movie Jenifer’s body in theatres and I can’t wait. I have wanted to see that movie for a while and I decided seeing it Halloween night would be pretty fun and scary.
I don’t like candy as much as most people do and I don’t really eat that much of it.
My favorite candy is probably Butterfingers and Chewy sprees. Oh and I like the tropical skittles too.
-History of Halloween-
The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom, and northern France, celebrated their new year on November. On October thirty-first they celebrated it because it was the last day of summer. This was around the time most people die. Then they soon believed that the ghosts of the dead came back that day and believed the ghosts gave Celtic priests future predictions on what will happen that winter. In celebration they would set a bonfire and Dress in animals fur and cover there heads with a dead animals face. They also burned animals and crops as sacrifices.
-Scary movies-
The Haunting in Connecticut
Prom Night
Orphan
Sorority Row
Jenifer’s body
Saw
-Haunting In Michigan-(from site http://ghostwatchers.org/hauntedplaces.html)
-Livonia - Stevenson High School - During the 1960's, a night janitor was finishing up his evening routine by mopping the auditorium for a morning performance. The following morning when the cast of the play arrived, they found the mop lying in the entrance of the auditorium. The janitor never returned home that evening and had made no contact with his family or the school. Years later, staff members claimed to have seen the janitor walking around the school whistling.
-Schoolcraft - The Harrison Cemetery - the site in question is the "glowing tombstone" , at a distance you can see one tombstone glow in the dark. The tombstone glows until you get to the edge of the cemetery, then it goes dark. You can’t really pinpoint the actual tomb and there are no lights around to illuminate it either. Some say it’s made out of phosphorous and others say its mercury vapor reflecting off a shiny tombstone. but it doesn't explain why it goes dark when you get within 500 feet. The only close house to it is 1/4 mile away. The cemetery is named after Bazel Harrison, who led 21 of the first settlers of the Prarie Ronde Kalamazoo County. Both him and his wife martha are buried there.

24 hours...
If I had only twenty four more hours to live I would definitely have a lot to do.
I would like to do everything I am interested in. I would go and visit each one of my friends and stick with only one of them for the whole day. I would most likely hang out with Shelby or Stephanie. I would like to go to the mall to hang out, go to the movies, and go hiking in the woods and go to the beach.
At the mall with my friends I would like to go to Great lakes crossing or twelve oaks.
There I would like to go to star bucks with them and get a banana chocolate smoothie and wander around the mall talking and looking at things. After that I would probably want to go home and watch at least two movies that I saw with some of my friends that I saw the movie with when it was in theatres. We would probably watch something scary like the haunting in Connecticut because that was a good memory with my friends. I saw the haunting in Connecticut with Kaylyn, Abbie, Julie, and Chelsey when we were all friends and we had a great time but we didn’t really watch much of the movie some people were freaking out at the sight of things popping out and jump out in the movie but I had a pretty good time.
Then I would like to head over to Handi~dip which is an ice cream place over by the rec center where me and some of my friends meet up and hang out. I would probably like to visit my Elementary to just to walk around and remember all the fun and interesting times that have happened there and look at places where me and my friends carved our names and things into the tree’s or under the playground on the poles.
For lunch I would go to Panera bread because it’s my favorite place to eat because I love there soup in a sour bread bowl and ceaser salad. Later I would like to somehow get to my condo up north on lake Michigan on the beach and have dinner on the deck and watch the sun set and take pictures and hang out with my cousins. We would play games and run around in the sand while the sky changes from pink and orange to black.

In ten years I can see myself probably living an average life. I will probably be starting off in a house or an apartment. I defiantly would like to leave my house as soon as I can but I want to make sure it's not too soon.
I will probably get around in an average kind of car but a better more expensive car that is affordable too me. I will probably be working in the Arts and communication career pathway and be an acetic. Most likely designing buildings for companies and designing schools and homes. It could be any job in the arts and communications pathway actually because I’m into designing and draw things and art.
In my spare time I will probably hanging out with friends because it doesn’t really matter how old you are every now and then you should hang out with your friends. Probably ever now and then I would go to the movies and the mall with a friend or two or out to eat.
Another possibility would be I would draw and think of new ideas and practice running track if I still run track and field in ten years.
I guess my style in clothing would change too polo’s and normal casual kind of stuff. By now I would hope I would have my own house fairly big and normal. So practically I would take most jobs in the Arts like an Art teacher, architect, Painter, Clothing designer, Photography, or anything like that. I honestly don’t know what one of those jobs I will have or pick in ten years but I’m guessing photographer or architect. I am also planning on at least 2 or four years in college and I am hoping I might get into this one college in Alabama for Arts or this one in California.

A is for Art; Art is one of my special capabilities. It is fun and an easy way to just be free and draw whatever you want. You could draw pictures of People to Trees.

D is for Dog because I have a pet dog named Cody. He is a black lab. I don’t really like him that much he steals most of our food and he weighs over 120 pounds.
E is for eigne because I am the first born in my family which makes me the oldest Sibling in my family. Sometimes it is hard being the oldest when there is so much fighting I have to listen to that’s between my two younger siblings James and Jimmy.
F is for fun because I like to enjoy my time and have as much fun as I can. Fun involves adventure, Creativity, and a lot more. Hanging out with my friends and traveling to me are a lot of fun and running Track and field and playing other sports.

O is for my favorite color orange. I like more of the color a the fruit orange.

Q is for Quite because I am quite in school but not normally in the halls or at lunch.
R is for Random because I am a really random person at times. For example one second I could be talking about texting then ask something like did you see that person in the car today. I guess it can be annoying.

What communicator am I?
What communicator am I? I’m kind of an anything communicator because I like to text a lot, go on MySpace, Facebook, and AIM. Normally I mainly just text because It’s easy to do on the go or wherever. I recently found out on my phone I can text over 100 words in a minute which I guess explains why my bill is between twelve thousand-thirteen thousand texts a month.
Facebook isn’t much fun to communicate on because you can basically only play games with your friends and write posts on people’s wall and status. It’s not really easy to explain things on electronics because things can be confusing at times and I prefer talking on the phone about stuff but for small chats it’s nice to use AIM and it’s a lot quicker than most things.
I definitely dislike Emails I only use mine to sign up for stuff because if there’s a problem it takes a while to send emails back and forth to a person. So I mostly use MySpace and texting because it’s a lot better, quicker, and fast. Although sometimes I still go on my facebook though it’s just a hard way to communicate with my friends.
One issue me and my friends have sometimes is if you say something (type) like sarcasm they don’t know your tone of voice so they don’t really know if you mean what you’re saying or if you joke around where on a phone they can tell if you are or aren’t joking or playing around. Drama is another issue I’ve had a lot on instant messaging it’s really hard and overwhelming to handle with over instant messaging. If I had to put the best communicators in order it would be talking in person, talking on the phone, Texting, IM, and then facebook .Out of anything talking in person is the best.

First day of high school.
Me and my friends S, K, and E had met together before school started on the first day of school. We walked together as we planned to everyday of high school. Me. and M and E. all complained once we stepped foot on Stevenson’s property about how nervous we were and how we did not want to be there.
Walking through those doors felt like one of the toughest challenges for us.
Knowing how many kids there are in the school made things feel worse but we were able to face it.
There was a rumor that K. had told me about how on Fridays at school the first few weeks it was called "Freshman Friday" where apparently the seniors beat up the freshman which obviously didn't happen or was true; It was just a rumor to frighten kids going to Stevenson. I made it to all my Classes that day in each one I thought how hard it is going to be in my classes but it turns out now that were on our second week that it seems hard but you just have to try your best.
I'd probably have to say Drawing 1 was my favorite class but besides electives I liked math class too because there are few people I know and the teachers are really nice too. Over the first week I finally adapted to the environment and memorized where my classes are but every now and then I still look at my schedule. In class pay attension,Try your best, and Study you should be able to pass.
People here are actually really nice so far for all I know. This week were now getting homework and assignments which can stress me out but normally only in biology but since last Friday I have been doing well(Even though its only the second week of school). So far things are good but I can't wait until later on this year.
